Tentative Series Name:
For this series I would like to take a series of images of my self containing different body parts in each picture. I wanted the overall composition to sort of be a collage of me and have parts of the picture represent me.
How will you execute idea?
I think I’m going to really think about how I feel I identify as a human and what characteristics of myself stand out and some that don’t. I want it to be personal and give the audience a sense of who I am but at the same time it’d be mysterious because there are parts that are mysterious to each person.
Why is this topic important to you? What do you want other people to understand? What do you hope this series will accomplish?
This is important because I think I just want to show a part of what I am, and I kind of want the photos to be a challenge. I shoot myself a lot anyways because I have no friends, but it’s always been shots of me just being a model. I don’t feel like a lot of my photos give people a sense of who I am (besides this girly girl who loves using pink gel).
Any special conditions, equipment, or techniques needed?
I have to think out of the scenes I want and what exact image I want to create with the collage, so I’ll have to think out how to shoot certain parts of me. I’ll definitely need my tri-pod and remote.
Output Method and Size:
Normal sizing. Or more with 4×6??
In addition to the series proposal you should also provide 4 sample sketches of what you think some of the photos in your series will be with your approach.
